Additional upgrades are available, like our hard stainless steel burner lid, 1/4th inch glass fire screen surround.
Your 48" Edge Fire Pit includes 100 lbs of our highly popular Starfire Glass (specific color indicated in the What's Included section), and we offer a variety of other colors and styles of fire glass should you be looking for something different to fill your fire feature. To fill this fire pit, approximately 100 lbs of fire glass is needed.

Optional Features That Will Exceed Your Expectations
CSA Certified Manual Match Lit Burner System: This burner kit is ignited by turning the key valve located on the side of the fire pit while simultaneously holding a lighter or match flame above the burner. When ordered with this burner system, the Edge becomes a CSA certified fire pit. This is important for projects, (usually commercial), where the fire pit will need to be approved by an inspector.
All Weather Electronic Ignition System: Known for its resilience in all weather climates, the AWEIS Ignition is perfect for when your fire pit will be located in harsher weather conditions. The AWEIS requires electricity and can be wired to virtually any electric switch, timer, pool/house control system and more.
CSA Certified Electronic Ignition System: Upgrade to a certified electronic ignition that features a hot surface ignitor. This system incorporates an internal temperature monitoring system that activates an overheat auto shutoff. It consists of a fully assembled square pan and penta burner. We offer two models, an ON/OFF model with optional remote control that works well with home systems, or our HIGH/LOW model with included remote control that allows for flame height control, and can also be controlled via a smart phone or tablet.
Hard Steel Lid: This Hard Stainless Steel Lid is a must have to keep the inside of your fire pit looking new. The hard lid rests across the entire top of your fire pit turning it into a useful table. When you're not using it as a fire pit, you have a perfect space for playing games, eating a meal, and much more.
Glass Wind Guard: This fire screen is made of 1/4" thick tempered glass and adds a 6" tall screen around the fire pit opening. The glass panels are made of low-iron Starfire Glass making each piece perfectly clear and reducing the bluish tint standard clear glass usually has. The fire screen is fastened together using eight beautiful stainless steel brackets.
